¿El fin de la historia? Nota sobre el espejismo de Francis Fukuyama

Abstract
En este artículo se lleva a cabo una crítica a la tesis de Francis Fukuyama sobre el fin de la historia. Éste comienza con una comparación entre la visión de la historia de Hegel y la de Fukuyama, estimándose que no existen mayores compatibilidades entre ambas, sino que, por el contrario, divergencias de fondo. El articulista, después, procede a confrontar las ideas de Fukuyama con la realidad factual y, según él, tampoco existiría una mayor concordancia entre ésta y aquéllas. Finalmente, se insinúa que el intelectual norteamericano incurre en un espejismo cuya principal característica es -paradójicamente- su falta de sentido histórico.
