Abstract
Anthony Giddens, en su obra Un Mundo Desbocado, muestra cómo la globalización ha logrado alcanzar todos los espacios que el mundo occidental contiene. Fenómeno que afecta las sociedades actuales, provocando que éstas sean cada vez más complejas y cambiantes, lo que ha significado que los sistemas sociales y políticos occidentales sufran cambios y transformaciones que responden a las necesidades y demandas sociales y políticas que las sociedades claman.
En Chile, estos cambios son claramente identificables y a su vez reflejan la necesidad de producir transformaciones y ajustes a nuestro sistema político...
