La inmigración judía en Estados Unidos a través de la obra de Isaac Bashevis

Abstract
Uno de los tantos efectos de las guerras mundiales es el proceso de inmigración judía que se produce durante el periodo de entreguerras y con mayor fuerza tras la Segunda Guerra. Los sobrevivientes judíos que se trasladan a Estados Unidos llevan consigo un elemento distinto al de la generación anterior, son los supervivientes de la persecución nazi y los últimos representantes de la cultura y vida judía europea; esto repercute directamente en cómo se entienden a sí mismos y cómo se relacionan con la comunidad. En este trabajo, se realiza un análisis sobre el bosquejo realizado por Isaac Bashevis Singer sobre los inmigrantes judíos a los Estados Unidos, sus impresiones, conflictos y esperanzas.
