Remozando el nacionalismo y el antiimperialismo latinoamericano

Abstract
En este artículo, se estudia un cuerpo de trabajos del análisis social latinoamericano, que emplea como insumos teóricos el dependentismo, el antiimperialismo, el nacionalismo y las ideas geográficas. Se plantea que la actual situación de América Latina es de retorno a una condición, de subordinación imperial y lucha anticapitalista. Dichas tesis, han ido adquiriendo relevancia con la llegada de gobiernos latinoamericanos nacionalistas, reactivos al liberalismo económico y críticos de la democracia, los que han sido catalogados como "izquierda". La ciencia social, vinculada a esos programas, comparte una base común de ideas antiliberales y anticapitalistas gestadas a inicios del siglo XX, que en la actualidad sirven como insumo para la política y desdeñan una agenda de investigación robusta.
