Hannah Arendt: la vigencia de un pensamiento

Abstract
El pensamiento arendtiano hoy día es un referente fundamental en las reflexiones sobre lo político y los escritos de esta autora muestran sus esfuerzos por comprender la realidad y lo sucedido. El marco de las reflexiones de esta filósofa judeo-alemana está conformado por el totalitarismo; sin embargo, su propuesta reivindica la política entendiéndola como concertación, como inicio, en donde el discurso, el habla y la libertad son constitutivos de tal espacio público. Este se caracteriza por ser la esfera de aparición en donde se intenta dignificar la política que el totalitarismo pervirtió hasta lo más hondo. Por ello Arendt resignifica el concepto de poder y reivindica la humanidad frente a la masificación, ya que vivir significa estar entre-los-hombres. Su apuesta republicana emana de la deliberación con los otros a través de una autoridad regida desde las leyes que apuntan al bien de la comunidad.
